Ruth and Carla Pirch Purkey asked me to post the words Dakota Fish spoke about Coach other then what you saw on TV, because most of it was cut from the taping. Ruth said that she wished everyone could hear what she did when Dakota and Stephanie spoke, but at least she got to hear it live. He was asked to speak a few words about Coach. Here is what he said: Coach Pirch is an inspiration to everyone he has coached, taught and to our entire community. He is the perfect example of what all of us want to become as men. Coach has taught all of us that a first impression means everything, how to be a true leader and to have passion for life. I was truly blessed in life that I was given such a great coach that has taught me life lessons on and off the field. -Dakota Fish Thank you to Coach and Ruth Hertzog Pirch for asking Dakota to speak in honor of Coach. This is a special moment he will never forget.
