The Miz Hell in a cell Match Cody Rhodes def. Dolph Ziggler © Intercontinental Championship Match Shawn Michaels def. Chris Jericho © Undisputed World Championship Match Alan Snyder def. Brock Lesnar 3 Stages of Hell Match Richard Saxby Backstage Blog: Sadly Rey Mysterio did not win the triple threat threat match as I wanted him too. Too bad they wasted the shot on Cody Rhodes. AJ Styles had a great showing including a spot where he hit a moonsault onto Rey and Cody who were on the outside. A decent match between Ziggler and Kennedy. Not too great, not too bad. A couple of botched spots. Ziggler going for a DDT and ended up throwing himself on the ground, and Kennedy letting go of a camel clutch launching Zigglers face into the mat. Not upset after this match at all. Nothing to complain about in the John Cena vs. Miz match. My favorite spot was when the Miz slammed the door on Cenas face and then Dropkicked the door, knocking out Cena. John Cena wins and in the end The Miz is shown really angry and on the verge of a temper tantrum. Of course, Cody Rhodes defeats Ziggler. Cody sucks soooooooo much. He will never be anything close to his father or brother. At the end of the day we don’t see a much anticipated unification of the IC and US titles by Ziggler. We then get too my favorite match of the pay per view and one of the best matches I have seen in a long long time with two of my favorites Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho. After a nice quality 5 star match, WWE surprised us all by having Shawn Michaels win the title from Chris Jericho. The two shake hands after the match and and HBK goes back to celebrating. A nice feel good moment. A wild match between Brock Lesnar and Alan Snyder. But, I guess they want to make Alan look like some fat superman and take NOT ONE BUT TWO cell bumps. Alan wins in the end and WWE f**** up another Pay per view ending by having Lesnar get SCREWED. Bruce Blitz: Hello everybody and welcome into your bruce blitz Ruthless Aggression 2012 review. Wow, crazy turn of events for the first WWE RP pay per view in the new era. We start off by having Vince McMahon coming out to the ring. He states it’s a new era, this company will be run much differently. I’m thinking ahhhh, what does Vince have in store for us tonight. Cena? He announces that Alan Snyder will be returning to the WWE after several years to take on Brock Lesnar in a 3 stages of hell match. This already has me questioning the pay per view as I’m saying to myself, Alan Snyder has a bad neck injury that put him out for a good 8 years and he’s coming back to be put into this kind of match. Vince goes onto say that tonight will go down in history as one of the best kick starts to any season sports has ever witnessed. The crowd goes nuts, pumped for Snyders return. The first match on the card was Rey Mysterio vs Cody Rhodes vs AJ Styles in a number one contender match to see who face Dolph Ziggler later on tonight for the Intercontinental championship. The match gets started with them all staring each other down and then they jump Rey. There was some nice double team spots such as the double clothesline and the double suplex to Rey. The two then trade blows or next couple minute which ends with a roll up attempt by AJ. Cody gets up and hits an amazing knee right to the face to AJ Styles. I covered my mouth a little because the impact was INSANE. AJ sold the s*** out of the move and rolls out the ring. Rey gets back into it and the two go back and forth before Rey tries to connect a 619. Cody grabs his legs picks him up on his shoulders and hits a Firemans carry slam which I thought was a great move by Cody. After minutes of Cody beating down on Rey, AJ comes and clotheslines Cody out of the ring. Rey rolls out the ring. The fans are clearly behind AJ. He then runs off the ropes and does an AMAZING moonsault to Rey and Cody on the outside. AJ throws Rey in the ring and pins to a 2 count. He stalks Rey and as Rey gets up Cody throws AJ to the outside and Cody nails the Cross Rhodes on Rey. Rhodes wins the match with the count of 3. I thought this was a pretty good opener. And we get to see two future world champions face off for the IC title later tonight. Next we get a very mediocre match. Ziggler vs. Kennedy for the United States Championship. Kennedy wins in a short contest. Now I don’t know if WWE was babying him seeing he has a second match tonight or what but he looked very effortless. He went for a DDT I believe it was and just fell straight on his back. I dont want to dig too deep. I would like to see Kennedy keep the US title belt for a bit then feud like a Shelton Benjamin or an AJ Styles even. I’m not a big fan of Kennedy at all but him and Ziggler just do not mesh. *Looks around* and then we get to the worst match on the f***ing card. F*** boy Cena facing one of the most boring wrestler in the industry today. In a Hell in a Cell match. So Cena comes out and talks into the camera “The cage is the only thing stopping me now” *has that disgusted face* The cage…..ITS A F***ING CELL. So corny. Then he runs or whatever that is he does. Anyway let’s get to the match. The two go back and forth and forth and the Miz is showing potential here. They end up going to the outside Miz slams the door on Cena. Cena “””””sells it”””” by falling down then getting right back up before getting dropkicked back down. Then GUESS WHAT HAPPENS NEXT. Cena gets back up :o. Cena chases Miz around the cell before they get back into the ring. The Miz lowblows cena to a 2 count. A TWO COUNT. In the End Cena hits The Miz with an Attitude Adjustment to win the f***ing match. At this point I want to blow my freaking brains out! They put two borng wrestlers inside of a Hell in a Cell which was so irrelevant to the match anyway. Vince you promised change BUT WE GET THE SAME OLD GOD DAMN SHIT. Sick and tired of it. Lets move on before I have a heart Attack. Next we get Ziggler vs. Cody Rhodes for the Intercontinental Championship. Not that bad of a match. Great back and forth action, we saw Ziggler improve drastically from his previous match. Ziggler hit two zig zags. But Cody rolled out the ring every time. Eventually Cody hits a cross Rhodes to Ziggler and your new champion CODY RHODES. I like where the WWE is going with Cody. Building him up smoothly. Honestly sooner or later I can see him as a World Champion. We then get a backstage promo. Chris Jericho is talking to Alan Snyder about some things when Shawn Michaels comes in. Shawn stares down Jericho and then points to his title and then says, kiss that title goodbye Chris because It’s finally my time to win once again. We get to the match, Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels for the undisputed World Championship. They start out in a reversal fest. Jericho then goes for a quick codebreaker but Shawn catches him and drops him and goes for a sweet chin music and actually connects. Jericho rolls out of the ring before Shawn could pin him and is almost counted out. Shawn pulls him back in and is in complete control of the match. Minutes later Shawn calls for the end and winds up for the Sweet chin music once again. Jericho gets up but ducks it and whips him into the ropes. We get the typical spot where Shawn Flips over the Turnbuckle and flips out of the ring. Jericho gets out of the ring and uses the outside to his advantage. Throwing Shawn into the barricade and into the steps. Jericho gets on the barricade and taunts “Best in the world”. The crowd deeply into it, give him lots of heat. He then smashes Shawns head off the announce table and Shawn over sells it and flies to the floor. Jericho clears the table and picks Shawn up. Out of No where Shawn hits the Sweet Chin Music to Jericho and Jericho flops onto the table. Amazingly, Shawn goes to the top turnbuckle and goes for the flying elbow drop! But Jericho moves out of the way. Shawn is laid up for about a while. This match took a turn for boring in my opinion. After minutes of Jericho breaking up the count rolling in and out of the ring, Shawn gets up and is thrown into the ring. Jericho then locks in the Walls of Jericho as Shawn is screaming in agony. Right now I’m thinking there’s NO WAY Jericho makes Shawn tap right here, I still think Jericho is going to win. Shawn gets out of it and gets back to his feet and hits ANOTHER SWEET CHIN MUSIC this time he gets the 3 count! I’m in shock, I really thought the WWE would give Jericho a super push. I also didn’t really think Shawn would ever get the World title again. I was never big on Shawn even back in the old days. I think the ladies man gimmick was never really up there for me. Maybe this was the change Vine was talking about. We get to our Main Event. Lesnar vs. Snyder in the 3 stages of hell contest. I’m not going to dig too deep on this but Alan Snyder looked like he never missed a beat man! The most amazing spot I’ve ever seen, Lesnar tossed Alan off the cell and Alan after a bit gets back up and climbs up the cell once again. Alan gets thrown right back up. Right here I’m going nuts. Alan is putting his body on the line again. Proving his love for the business. In the end Snyder hits a chokeslam throw the top of the cell and wins the match 2-1. I really enjoyed the bumps these two took in the match. Had a real attitude era feel to it. The cell was pretty much destroyed after this *laughs*. I’m really looking forward to seeing where Alan goes next. I’m thinking they feed him to Cena but what can I do? *Crumples paper* That’s your Ruthless Aggression 2012 review.
