Ryan got to come home this morning for another home eval. He had the biggest smile on his face when they got here. We were all so excited for Ryan to be here. Ryan didnt get to just sit and relax while he was home. He worked his butt off! He did great walking into the house and going up the few stairs we have. We worked on transfers in and out of the recliner/couch, walking into our bedroom, getting in and out of our bed, walking into the bathroom, transfers in and out of the shower, took a shower with a shower bench, transfers on and off the toilet, and getting on the floor and working on getting up IF he were to fall. Wow! That is a lot in just 2 short hours but he did GREAT! Ryan was rewarded with a lunch date at Lomitas. 😉 Ryan has been asking his therapy team when he can go home for good. Today we set a goal just for him - 8 more weeks. He still has a lot to work on especially his walking. He has come such a long ways. I am SO proud of him. Tomorrow will be 8 months since his accident - what a journey but I wouldnt have it any other way. ❤️Megan I almost forgot! They did NOT bring his wheelchair today!!!!!!
