((Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.)) are we save through/by faith alone? dont we need to work?, the scripture above says were saved throu faith but it dosnt mean no work at all. the work mention above is the work of law of moses((Romans 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.)). yes we will not be save by that law because we are saved/redeemed by Christ((Romans 3:27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. Acts 13:39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses..)).. but theres a work we need to obey and heres a verse; ((Philippians 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.)) its clear, the scripture above says we need to work out, we need to fulfil the law of Christ ; ((Galatians 6:2 Bear ye one anothers burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.)) we are His workmanship to perform good works and we cant boast it bcause were not working on our own but with God; ((Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. 1 Corinthians 3:9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are Gods husbandry, ye are Gods building. 2 Timothy 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.)) the scripture below says add to your faith. so we need to add; ((2 Peter 1:5-8 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
