S O A S P O I L E R – Sneakers Gone. Boots On! 1st off let me start by asking… Did you catch Matt McAndrew performing “Make it Rain” on The Voice 2 nights ago? Come to find out that Adam Levine is a HUGE fan of the show and when he heard it on last week’s episode he knew that Matt should sing it. That boy did a damn good job with it. Check it out! I’m sad to say these words, but SOA is no more! Jax’s Sneakers are gone and boots were on. This episode showed a man that was all about his business. He knew what needed to be done for the club to survive, including burning all the history. Sometimes you have to let go of the past in order to focus on the future. MESSAGE! I loved that he paid his respects to Opie by leaving his rings on his head stone. Opie died for the club, and Jax was all about change for the better including the story’s biggest milestone of patching through T.O. in to SAMCRO. Perfect for where we are right now in the world. Let all that racist crap go! As always Sutter delivered a few funny moments like Tig screaming like a little girl riding through a factory of plastic dolls. Lol I read somewhere that he has a fear of them in real life too. Ha! So I held my own in the tears department except for 3 points. Jax saying good bye to his boys made me a little misty eyed. Anything to do with a Father and Son’s separation will do that to me. I’m sure there is a couch in a Dr.’s office somewhere with my name on it. Nero was a little late with the shades trying to hide his tears from Wendy. I’m glad he’s there to keep her straight and take care of them boys. All 3 of them! Jax’s goodbye to Chucky was short and sweet. A “Thank You” and handshake was all that was needed. Then Jax telling Chibs the real deal on the roof had me feeling Chibs’ pain. How would you feel if your best friend told you he had to die by your crew’s hands and that’s the way it has to be? Crazy right? Soak that in for a minute. The Mayhem vote GOT ME! His team having to vote “YAY” to let Mayhem fall was all I could stand. I felt like I was voting too. Their dead eyes looking off in the distance was real. The combination of the vote and the meeting to let Mayhem fall felt like they were saying goodbye not only to Jax, but also to the series. Bravo to Jax for taking it upon himself to handle that and not let his comrades do it. (Although I hate suicides and ya’ll know that) My final couple of thoughts – The homeless lady is still a mystery even after Sutter’s explanation afterwards. In my eyes, she’s a cross between Jesus and the Grim Reaper. Some could say that’s one in the same. Just a higher power that shows you all good things come to an end. DEEP! The bread and wine was trippy though. Lastly – I love that Able was playing with the SONS ring. It’s not over. At least not in my mind. Side notes – Did you see that Opie is bearded up again on Anarchy afterwards? What’s that about? And I’m excited to see where all the actors will turn up next. More good stuff on the way. Keep an eye out for The Bastard Executioner!
