SA Looking Back #2. Without taking a poll, I can bet that most of us think the best record we ever made together was Rose Polenzani’s When the River Meet’s the Sea. It would be hard to overstate how enjoyable and rewarding these sessions were. Its also hard to pick a song to share as they are all really wonderful in completely different ways. Rose is an incredible musician, songwriter, and singer and really helped us discover her songs with her. Billy Conway is a wonderfully generous producer and managed to keep us all in good creative spirits throughout. Hi-n-Dry was a magical room to work in and is well missed by everyone who got to spend time up there in the loft in Cambridge (take a look at Bruno Green’s documentary, Hi-n-Dry a Community, on youtube if you have time).
