SAAP friends, I have a question I need the brutally honest truth to. Whats it like to take on a homeless mama dog before, during, and after she has puppies? I want the total, honest, and poopy-filled description of experiences. We have a baby on the way and Id love to take on some foster babies in the next 6 months or so and would love to know what its really like. I know its not all butterflies and puppy breath. The miracle of birth and pet overpopulation attracts me to helping homeless pregnant mama dogs with her pups. I have been volunteering at Northside SPCA for two years now so I have plenty of shelter dog experience across all boards!
