SABER STADIUM PROJECT “Support and invest in the Franklin community.” Why does this project need to happen? Provide increased access and usage for all athletic, activities and community events Safety; synthetic fields are safer than natural fields Multi-use field will service numerous city and school programs Current equipment and facilities are outdated Improve the city and school image via a quality facility Reduce annual maintenance costs What is our goal? Build a new stadium with a new synthetic turf athletic field Install a new, 8-lane running track Replace outdated home and visitor grandstands Build a new, update press and coaches box Install new scoreboards and new efficient lighting Who will benefit from this facility? Band program Baseball and Softball Cheerleading and Poms Football (junior, youth and high school programs) Boys & Girls Lacrosse Park and Recreation programs Boys & Girls Soccer Boys & Girls Track How do we get it done? Raise $3.5 million ($2.0 million – Phase 1) Raise funds via Corporate and Private donations In-Kind donations of Goods & Services Why you should donate and support this project!
