SAD REALITY... I wonder what genius Sean Penn thinks of this.... Unlike the U.S., which has three branches of government, Venezuela has four branches, the usual three plus the electoral authorities. The top Chavista-stacked court now says the latter are rulers for life, or until they displease the Cubans. This is yet another loss of checks and balances sliding toward dictatorship. Brick by knocked out brick, this is how it works. There will be no free or fair elections for Venezuela in the foreseeable future - the current crew being given carte blanche presided over the last two very fraudulent elections.
