SAINT JOHN SENIOR COUPLE NEEDS OUR HELP Husband has had 2 strokes - Wife has lost her job because her boss retired They are 61 and 63 years of age – they rent an apartment near Harbour View High School Their monthly income is $903. Their rent is $600 with nothing included After utilities and prescriptions, etc - there is no money left for food With his health conditions, Romero House is too far to get to for daily meals They have NO family – NO telephone – NO cable TV A next door neighbour posted an ad for help with food a few weeks ago - An “Angel” named Julia answered it and has gotten them health cards, a doctor for the wife, donations of food from friends of hers ...and..... on the list for Saint John Housing But, until that time, their food is almost finished. They are desperate Not only do they need help now, but for the upcoming months as well Julias resources are running out. PLEASE HELP WITH FOOD..MEAT..FLOUR..SUGAR..GIFT CERTIFICATES Im sure they can use household and cleaning supplies and personal toiletries too...AND.... lots of suggestions on how we can help them further Perhaps you can contact your Employer, your supermarket Manager, the Media, whomever you can think of.
