I have to say that it was one of the best events we have had in a long time, the vibe was just amazing and i believe everyone who attended had a great time. With a fun kite with the crew on Friday night followed by a sandbar session and wind all day Saturday Whyalla really did deliver! Before we get into the results i have to say a huge thank you to all the people who put in to make this event happen. To Easto and Jac at Xtreme Kites and Paddle huge effort guys! The hard work and effort you guys have put in over the last few months has been massive. To the Whyalla council for coming on board and being so accommodating and welcoming, the Westlands Soccer Club for opening up and having us Friday and Sat night, the Whyalla Discovery Caravan Park for putting us up, not to mention all the local businesses who came down and supported the event with food stalls, etc on the day, thank you all. Huge thanks to Andy Yates for making the trek down to be our head judge, it was amazing to have you here mate and even better to see you tear it up during your time on the water.
