Heard this wooing, In every beat of my heart theres a beat for you At 10 in 1962 I said Shes rich!!! ha ha,When I heard if the weekly shows 13 miles across the River in Harlem s Apollo Theater for just 60 cents and you could stay all day and see 5 shows, my life radically changed. Been following this richness ever since. Had to see her, her brother and two cousins at over 100 times just at the Apollo.This act the general public is not aware has been the Royal MASTERS of choreography. Otis of the Tempts ran home to Detroit telling Berry GLADYS and her FAM,, killed us in Ohio. We need choreography. Thats what Otis said. Berry got on that phone n called Cholly Atkins and the rest is history you know about. Whenever they took stage after praying, you KNEW you were in for something very special. Musically what this Lady and family taught us lovers of live stage performance is unspeakable. I thank God for having GLADYS KNIGHT & THE PIPS in my life.
