SATELLITES ARRIVE AT KAYSERI …To Face USA THE BLACK Satellites on Tuesday morning arrived safely at Kayseri in Turkey to face USA in the last match of Group-A. The Ghana team accompanied by Deputy Sports Minister Joseph Yammin hit Kayseri airport in the morning after travelling by plane from Istanbul. The Black Satellites are camping at the Hilton Hotel at Kayseri, the city that would host the FIFA U20 World Cup tie. The Kadir Has Stadium, with a 30,549 capacity, built by the Kayseri Metropolian Municipality, is the venue for the game, taking place on Thursday evening. Ghana goes into the difficult match with no point after two successive defeats to France and Spain. The Americans, on the other hand, have one point after holding France and losing 1-4 to group leaders, Spain. The Black Satellites has a slim chance of advancing to the next stage of the tournament if they are able to beat USA convincingly. Four of the third-best placed teams in the six groups of the competition can make it to the last sixteen. …Akua Afriyie & Patrick Apreku Istanbul, Turkey.
