SATURDAY SERVE Our next Saturday Serve is August 23rd from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at Enon Park. As you know, we are partnering with the Village of Enon and have adopted Enon and Galloway Parks. New playground equipment has arrived for Enon Park and we are helping to assemble it. In addition, we need a group to perform our monthly cleanup, which includes trash pickup, weeding and general landscaping needs. This is a great opportunity for families, neighbors and groups to serve together. If you are interested in serving on the 23rd, please email me. The fourth Saturday of each month we will have service opportunities for you to have active and direct participation. Become involved “hands on,” financially and through prayer. A direct result of talking about this ministry, listening and praying for opportunities to serve, we have become aware of a person in our community who needs tires for their car. The car is in fine working order but the tires are so bald they cannot risk transporting the children for fear a tire will blow out. The children will have to be walked to and from school. We want to be of service by providing these tires and are asking for your donations. Please mark your check or envelope “Saturday Serve” and place it in the offering plate on Sunday. QUESTIONS?
