SAVE-A-LOT TO DONATE HUNDREDS OF ITEMS FOR THE HUNGRY Sav-A-Lot grocery store will donate much-needed food to our area Food Bank Thursday SEPTEMBER 18, 2014 @ 3PM. Save-A-Lot of Clifton Forge will present the Feeding America Southwest Virginia food bank with hundreds of food items to help feed people in need. . The donation is part of opening Save-A-Lot’s Clifton Forge store and an effort to give back to a community that’s been so kind and encouraging to them, said Kathy Stone, VP of Marketing for the Kentucky-based corporation. The Clifton Forge store’s official grand opening will occur on Wednesday morning, September 24th @ 8AM.
