The Kingdom of God is not meat or drink (temporal earthly things), but righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. One can have RPJ through the Holy Ghost, despite what is going on all around them. In other words, Christ is our peace and joy and our relationship with Him is what keeps righteousness, peace, joy, and love alive in our lives despite all the pain that may be going on all around us. It is like a treasure that can never be taken away if we continue to yield our entire lives in total surrender to Gods Holy Spirit. The New Testament says, And be not drunk with wine which is in excess, but be filled with the Holy Spirit. In thy presence, Oh Lord, is fullness of joy and at thy right hand are pleasures forever more. As we see this world becoming worse and worse, let us seek to be baptized, (full of, covered completely by) the Holy Spirit of God, for it is there that we will find all the strength needed to sustain us. Jesus said, And ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you. Power to overcome this world of sin, sadness and pain. Power to live for Christ; Power to be the sons and daughters of God. To as many as received Him, (the Holy Ghost), he gave power to be the sons of God. And Jesus said, I will pray to the Father (God) and He shall give you another comforter, that He may abide with you forever. This, Jesus said, before He ascended into Heaven after His resurrection. We never have to be alone, for the Spirit of Truth, Gods Holy Spirit will always be there to comfort us, to guide us, to teach us. He will abide with us forever. Ask God to cover you completely in His Holy Spirit today. God Bless.
