SAVE A SOUL - A CALL FOR HELP I met a long lost friend and old school mate of late and what should have been a wonderful connection and re union turned out to be one laden with sad tales even though we thank God for the preservation of our life. BACKGROUND (I will do a summary so that you will not be bored) My friend, Samuel Adigun, a young man who was full of life and hopes for a great tomorrow had an infection two years ago. This infection has eaten deep into his two legs that he currently walks with the aid of walking sticks. The problem started as a normal sickness and he was admitted and diagnosed to have blood shortage. It was later discovered that he had a gap between the femur and hip bone. He lives daily with pains and requires surgery to replace his bone disk. He has been bed ridden, lost all his savings and could not continue fending for his daily needs. In the course of the sickness, he was also left by his fiancée because it was hard for her to cope with his situation. For him life has been miserable. HIS CURRENT SITUATION AND NEEDS Samuel who currently resides with his aged father (a pensioner and a widower) in Ilorin, Kwara State currently needs both Hip bone replacement operation because his femur heads are damaged as a result of the bone infection (Sorry, I am not a medical personnel so I can only explain to the best of my knowledge).
