Ron Sterritt Chiefs and Matriarchs, The 250 year old Royal - TopicsExpress

Ron Sterritt Chiefs and Matriarchs, The 250 year old Royal Proclamation is and has not been extinguished. The government and Provincial government like us to think that and are pressuring us to be assimilated, be a non-status like them. Do not be alarmed when this is coming to our land, stand firm, we are non-extinguishable people, we are aboriginals in our lands, and we should always remain like so. Money will not replace our status, our aboriginals rights, and our right to self-government. How strong is our self-government today. Our Education is in the Royal Proclamation, and will be there for eternity. The Canadian government has the duty to make sure we get educated, and not disturb our aboriginal rights in our lands. I heard UN rep say this many times. That is why the government is offering upfront fairly large amount of money, for the next 10 years, for us to do what they want, give up our rights in the Royal Proclamation of 1763. Educators must use this in their presentatiions, as references to our stand as First Nation people in the land across Canada. Chief Txsuu-Clifford C.W.
