SAVE NIGERIA NOW! If information reaching me is anything to go by, then Hon Aminu Waziri Tambuwal should be apprehended for questioning by the Nigerian Police Force. According to reports, Mr Speaker and his entourage were allowed entry through the first and second gates of the National Assembly even as some other members were already sitted in the Green Chamber, but were denied access at the third gate following his refusal to subject the thugs with him for searching as requested by the security personnel in a nation battling with security challenges. If this is true, then it is obvious that the APC have not actually told Nigerian citizens their real intention for this power desperation and cheap blackmail. Nigeria have degenerated to a level where some members of the opposition party, lawmakers, community leaders and other gullible sympathizers of terrorism will rather condemn our security forces and the presidency whilst exonerating the masterminds of the despicably cowardly war against the Nigerian State. Politics should not be a do or die affair. Politics should be a vehicle for positive awareness, mental emancipation and a guide for community driven development. Most pathetic was the recent barbaric slaughtering of about 48 pupils in Yobe state just because Mr President was going to declare intention to seek for reelection. What were they trying to prove? Why wont they allow the electorate to elect their leaders through the ballot? Indeed any person or group that encouraged the ongoing genocide in a bid to wrestle power from the incumbent must be brought to book by the Author and Finisher of our fate because they could still have achieved their aim without killing innocent people.
