SAVE THOSE BOOKS!!! The USS Serling will be holding a bookfair on November 22nd at our local Barnes & Noble to raise funds for the Literacy Volunteers of Broome/Tioga Counties. The official event runs from 4-8pm at the Vestal, NY, Barnes & Noble. HOWEVER, anyone can help out by simply going to their own local B&N and purchasing books (or whatever) using the BOOKFAIR CODE: 11227071 at checkout. Or you can order the books online at bn and check the bookfair purchase box at checkout and enter the same code any time between November 22nd and November 27th. A percentage of your purchase will be donated to Literacy Volunteers! So save up your B&N purchases and help out a great charity. And help spread the word--share this post. We raised over $800 for the charity last year and wed like to top that this year!
