SAY NO MORE..... Running into you like this, without warning...is like catching a sniff of Tequila in the morning.~ Crash Test Dummies ;) Not really, but it is kind of a funny quote to start out with dont ya think? So here we are...and I am very happy to report that it looks as if I survived the week. Now it did come with some aches and pains, an Earthquake, plummeting temperatures in the mornings, more darkness and a few scrambles to make interviews, deadlines, and commitments, but over all I can say there were no breaking news stories of any real damage to the Rome household...so that is a good thing.... What were talking about from this point on, is really just all about me, giving my permission to me, when it comes to the thoughts of, Hey...I THINK ILL DISSAPEAR NOW, and melt away into the couch, with this remote control, an ashtray, and no plans what so ever for anything other than what I just said...I guess what I am trying to say to myself is Yes, Lance...its ok buddy...take a break...Relaxing is another thing I completely dig about this place....Alaskans do know how to chill out better than most without a doubt.... Im sure its because in the middle of the long winters, youd better be able to stay calm when you cant get out of the front door because the snow is so deep it wont open....and theres a Bear thats decided hes hungry for a mid hibernation snack if you go out there anyways... Ok, so now you know why I titled this story like I did...It is probably time for me to just shut up...and then shut in for awhile... After some body rest, and a good nights sleep, I may just have to re-appear and have some fun for a few days...so stay tuned...and as always.... Have a great night everybody!
