SCHOOL REUNION UPDATE 3 Jo Morse and I have been to Baneswell Social Club. We have function room downstairs with option of going into the bar (always a solo artist on a Saturday night and pool table, bonus!). If numbers go above 150 we can have function room upstairs, duke box, pool table and buffet by Joyce Bowen. NO DRINKS on the dance floor please!! Will give DJ play list about a week before so keep thinking of songs and send to me. On entry you will have your name on a sticker with years you were in Queens, so we can recognise our friends! Collages of teachers on the wall, if you have copies of pics you took, send them to me or Jim or on the night as a talking point. I will hopefully have a photographer for 2 hrs, so if anyone wants their pic taken these will then go on the Queens page. Event will be advertised in the Whats On in the Argus and the Voice Mag, by Nick at the Baneswell Club. PAYMENT: set up an account but TSB dont want me to put details on here, or pm message people because of security risk. If you want a ticket and you cannot see me in Dylans Cafe (Lower Dock Street, Newport) on a Saturday morning then private message me and i will give you alternative arrangements. Really DONT want to have to handle money on the night, want to enjoy the evening and not worry about a load of cash in my bag!! Sure everyone will appreciate that! DRINKS:Nick has a wide range of drinks but if anyone has anything they specifically want, yes i know Sandy Bosher Sambuca and Mark Williams Thatchers Gold!! Please again let me know and i will ask Nick to get some behind the bar. Jim Bowles has got the ticket ready for me now so just a matter of everyone buying them. Already had my first sale this morning in Dylans from Jacqueline Jones who has bought 4 (even though i had no tickets on me as JIm had a sore head and had not updated the ticket!!!). Again thanks for everyones input, this will be an AMAZING night and we are raising money for the Sparkle Appeal as well. :-D
