SCONUL Access scheme - changes to application procedure: Most Birkbeck students are entitled to use many other academic libraries through the SCONUL Access scheme. In the past, it was necessary to get a paper SCONUL card to take with you to other libraries, but these are no longer issued. To apply for SCONUL Access you should now visit sconul.ac.uk/sconul-access and apply online. You will receive an email confirmation which you can show to gain access to or to join other libraries that are in the scheme.
