SCRIPTURE: "We rejoice in our sufferings, because suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us." (Romans 5:3-5) God never said that this road would be easy but He did say that it would be a road that is less travelled. God did not say that we would not have trials when we follow Him but He did say that He would never leave us nor forsake us. God says that, before you were in the world but NOW you are in me, so I, your God will cover you, will protect you, will be your shield. God says He will trade your sorrow for JOY, trade your anxiety for PEACE, trade your pain for HEALING. God says, that He is setting you up so that you can be released into your destiny. So, no matter what sufferings you are facing this day, remember it is building perseverance, building character and ultimately building up in you HOPE, and HOPE in the Lord will never fail! Dear Father God thank you for the trials placed in my life and even though I might not understand the reasons for them; I believe in you and I trust in you and I know that it is to propel me into my destiny. I thank you Lord that you are the Lord of my life and I give you praise this day, in Jesus name, Amen.
