SCROOGE 2014 - You heard it Raiders!!! The annual Scrooge campaign / challenge has begun and Scrooge wants you! November 18 - December 5 - Homeroom challenge - collecting non-perishable food items and cash which will be donated to the Salvation Army Holiday Hamper program. (You could come out with your homeroom to the Beal Blitz and all the cans you collect in the community could be counted toward your total.) November 18 - November 26 - Colouring contest entries are due November 26 - pick up a colouring sheet from Ms. Armstrong in Room 234 or the Student Council / main office. November 18 - December 5 - Hallway / door decorating contest - you choose the theme (it can be holiday based or departmental or you could even do it based on the unit you are currently studying) November 26 - Tacky sweater day / contest November 28 - Pudding Fling - would you like to be a volunteer? Come get messy with us for a good cause! ($1.00 gets you three spoons!) December 1 - Decorate your friend like your favourite tree! $3.00 and we provide the ornaments (pictures to be submitted to yearbook) December 2 & 3 - 5:00 - 8:00 pm - we desperately need drivers and students to go door-to-door to collect non-perishable food items December 3 - Fly on the wall - Come hang with us! ($1.00 for a piece of tape) November 18 - December 5th - KD challenge - be the class to collect the most KD and your class will come down to the atrium and set up the domino course / design and be the ones to set it off! December 12 - period 5 - Senior Girls Volleyball Scrooge Buyout - $2.00 donation to Scrooge gets you a ticket to watch our girls play hard in the First Annual Beal Scrooge Invitational Volleyball Tournament
