SEARCH AND SEIZE GODS PROMISES! Here in the United States, under Constitutional authority, the law enforcement respects the ownership and privacy of every individuals property until, under probable cause and with an issued warrant, an officer may search and seize, even confiscate that individuals possessions if suspected of having incriminating evidences of unlawful activity. Think of this: the Bible, Gods Word, is a storehouse of exceeding great and precious promises (2Peter 1:4) made by God to us-ward, His people; yet, who will engage himself to search and seize them? Is there not probable cause to search His Word for evidences of the Lords faithfulness and goodnesses which He has sustained His people with? And Who will issue us the search warrant for such promises? None other than the Lord, the just Judge, Jesus Christ Himself! Seek, and ye shall find, Matthew 7:7. Again, He says, Search the Scriptures, John 5:39. Therefore, every believer in the household of faith, under the authority and warrant of the Lord Jesus Christ, may search and seize these exceeding great and precious promises in His Word, under probable cause of Gods past mercies and faithfulness! To each of us, the Lord is bidding us to launch out into the deep waters of His Word, and let down your nets for a draught of His golden promises (Luke 5:4). You can always be confident to catch a promise where the Lord bids you to look!
