SEAWEED CAUSES PROBLEMS AT TOWN BEACHES The Sargassum seaweed continues to spread around the island, including some of the popular beaches frequented by seabathers in Bridgetown. Visitors and locals at the Pebbles Beach near the Hilton Hotel were greeted by a large mass of the weed when they visited the area early this morning….but it was an unwelcomed sight for some watercraft operators who were concerned about possible damage to their craft. Another operator told the CBC news it could impact business today.
