SECURITY DOG TRAINING - SWITCH ON / OFF Heres a short video sent to me by Dan with his young dog, Ike. Dan began training with us many years ago with Storm, and they developed into a really strong, reliable team. A short while ago Dan got Ike as a pup, with a view to him moving into an operational role alongside Storm. Hell eventually take over the role solely when Storm takes his well-earned retirement. Weve been bringing Ike along and helping him understand the many features his new job will entail. In this short clip you see Dan and Ike working on the switch on / off aspect that will mean Ike remains calm and quiet until a more active response is deemed necessary by Dan. I think it shows Dan and Ike understand each other well and are moving towards the day when they become an effective operational team.
