SEEK DAILY (NBC) Monday, August 26 Matthew 6:25-34 GOD KNOWS OUR EVERY NEED “So do not worry, saying, “What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’… For … your heavenly Father knows that you need them.” Matthew 6:31-32, NIV Have you ever wondered why manufacturers always include operational guidelines or manuals in their products? Such manuals often contain specifications on the products and all that the products need to effectively function as expected. The reason is simply to aid the user in getting highest satisfaction from the product without stress or struggle. God, who made us, knows what we need to be what we ought to be even while we were in the womb (Jeremiah 1:4). Hence, Jesus tells us not to worry about things that are only for a while. Worrying about such could do us great harm, physically and spiritually. To Jesus, worrying differs from planning. Careful planning is thinking ahead about goals, steps and schedules and trusting in God’s guidance. When done well, planning can help alleviate worry. So, stop worrying so that you are not consumed by fear or find it difficult to trust God. Our Redeemer lives and He knows every of your need more than you.
