SEEK DAILY (NBC)Monday, March 17Matthew 9:35; 10:1SHEEP WITHOUT A SHEPHERDBut when he saw the multitudes…they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. Matthew 9:36, KJVAs we begin a new working week, the Lord is presenting to us the principles by which we should relate with one another. It is very easy to be carried away with the activities outlined for each week and forget the basics that are meant to ensure our productivity and fruitfulness. When Jesus saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion because they were as sheep having no shepherd. They were a hungry, weak and scattered people. How you see people determines your reaction towards them. Several times, we see people as opportunities for meeting our selfish ends. From today, whenever you see people in need, think of how you can make their lives better. The greatest assets you could have in life are the contributions you make in the lives of others. Many people are on their way to hell; let your heart be moved with compassion to win them for Christ. What Jesus saw moved Him to do what He did. Seek to help people out of the challenging situations of their lives. Be an agent of compassion. • Birthday Blessing: “I will give you the treasures of darkness, riches stored in dark places….” Isaiah 45:3Read Bible Through Passage: Deut. 12, 13; Mark 15:24-47It will not save me to know that Christ is a Saviour; but it will save me to trust Him to be my Saviour – C.H.
