SEEK DAILY (NBC) Tuesday, October 28 Psalm 138 GOD’S EXALTED NAME I will worship towards Your Holy temple and praise Your Name…. Psalm 138:2, NKJV A little boy was crying on his way to school one morning. The rhythm of his cry was, “My daddy, my daddy....” A man taking his child to the same school in his car stopped to pick the crying boy and asked him why he was crying and calling his father. The boy said his father used to take him to school every morning and he would buy him biscuits and give him money, but the man travelled and could not do that on that day. The boy felt his absence and wished the man would be available. Unlike the father of the crying boy, God is always available to take care of us. The psalmist realised this and praised the name of God. He also recognised that God answered him in times of trouble (v. 3). For these and much more he always praised the name of the Lord. Do you also have reason(s) to praise the name of the Lord? Can you reflect on what the Lord has done in your life and give praise to His name this morning? He deserves it all.
