SEEKING WEEKEND GALLERY ATTENDANT(S) Weekend Gallery Attendant Opportunity - National Aboriginal Cultural Institute (Tandanya) After many years, Tandanya’s regular weekend gallery attendant is retiring. Are you one of the new attendants who will take her place? The National Aboriginal Cultural Institute – Tandanya seeks expressions of interest from Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people who have a day or two free on the weekend and would like to become part of the team at Tandanya, committed to the promotion of Australian Indigenous cultures and art to visitors from around the world. The position involves being responsible for opening and closing the galleries and, during the hours of operation, the safety of artwork in the gallery, the safety of visitors within the gallery, and ensures that the prohibition of taking photos, videos, or the consumption of food or drink is adhered to. The position also readies the theatre or the Board Room for the noon cultural performance.
