SEEKING real Detroiters for research on LA based short film. From the producer: Seeking specific historical stories but mostly focus on current events/projects/happenings. Trying to skew towards positive things that have been born out of the blight. i.e. urban farming, The Heidelberg Project, people that volunteer to patrol their neighborhood due to lack of police presence.....etc... I f you or you know anyone else that would be a good reference for this, please email me; OR make a short video telling a personal Detroit specific story that we could potentially innercut into our research videos; please contact Dane Story through the contact section of the kickstarter page. There is no pay, but this is a chance for you to work with an LA-based filmmaker, who gets his films seen at festivals.
