SELF EVALUATION- MOTIVATION -UPLIFTMENT WORKSHOP In today’s world the Human being is just like a machine, working with all energies in a very complex environment whether it is Domestic Household, Office Job, Business or any Profession, with focus on PROGRESS, PROMOTION, PAY, POWER and so on. Eventually misses on essentials for being a “Better Human Being”. Loses on Health, Family Values, Morality, Social Responsibilities, Traditional and Cultural Values and above all loses on HIS DUTY AS AN ASSET TO THE SOCIETY AS A WHOLE. What is ultimately achieved by him is STRESS, AGONY, NEGATIVITY, ENVY, POWER HUNGER, FATIGUE, JEALOUSY, GREED, AND A BIG BUNDLE OF HEALTH RELATED ISSUES AND AILMENTS, PLUS HEFTY MEDICAL BILLS AND LOTS OF PILLS ON LIFETIME BASIS TO DEPEND ON FOR SURVIVAL. The reason for this can be found in a person’s self behavior that can be enumerated in following points. 1. Imitating lifestyles and Food Habits of people from much advanced nations. 2. Always feeling low in front of people whom you meet. (Inferiority Complex) 3. Non up gradation of Knowledge possessed. 4. Having a feeling to supersede in group of people you move around with (Superiority Complex) 5. Having very less adaptation qualities and not accepting change so easily. 6. Keeping yourself unaware about latest developments within the circle and even globally. 7. Never being contented of what is achieved and being tensed and worried by things not achieved. 8. Avoidance of Family and Society in which you are a part of. 9. Self lethargy and inactivity. 10. Not giving sufficient time and focus on personal health and development and prolong dealing with issues of health disorders. The result for all this is a person gets into a viscous circle of problems, HEART ATTACK, INSOMNIA, BLOOD PRESSURES, OBESITY, TUMOUR, ULCERS, MIGRAIN ETC. This situation is commonly found among people living in developing countries. Those Human Beings that are Assets to the society and nation as a whole; those who can contribute to growth are themselves getting ruined. The nation is not on the path of progression but is regressing fast. What is essential in this scenario is a SELF EVALUATION- MOTIVATING- UPLIFTMENT PROGRAMME. People compare themselves with fellow human being that is a normal tendency, but is a reality is something that is very different. That is there is no comparison of A with B, because each has different qualities and posses its independent significance. Mr. A can be very good at singing but may not drive, but Mr. B can be an expert driver but cannot sing at all, but both do posses some talent. By SELF EVALUATION – MOTIVATING – UPLIFTMENT PROGRAMME, the idea is to boost the growth of every independent individual so that he can understand his strengths and weakness and thereby capitalize on strengths and slowly but surely reduce on weaknesses. It is thereby an initiative to make every human being a contributing asset to the society and the nation as a whole. We need to make “INDIA PROUD OF INDIANS – ABOVE ALL THE WORLD PROUD OF INDIA AND INDIANS.” “HOW TO OVERCOME SHORTCOMINGS AND BECOME A COMPLETE HUMAN BEING?” 1. The first step in this direction is “SELF ASSESSMENT”. A person is the best judge himself. He knows about his shortcomings and also knows things he can do best. But unfortunately tries to conceal all his weaknesses and by doing this he thinks he has proven the world that he is the best, but in reality he is causing much harm to himself. The way out being share your feelings and opinions with others, listen to other’s experiences and problems faced by others. Start incorporating good attributes of others in your personal behavior and try avoiding acts that has caused problems to others. By this you are learning in terms of theory aspects that can start transforming you. Following this technique can surely bring signs of changes that can easily be noticed by persons who come in your contact and you will develop the power to make the people agree and follow your opinions. 2. BE POSITIVE:- The desires of a Human Being are constantly changing and are unending in nature. What is desired by one now by the time gets fulfilled the other desire becomes more important. But in reality in terms of desire no one is capable of reaching 100 marks although he or she has 99 marks secured. There always is that 1 mark short that invokes a feeling of NEGATIVITY. The mere thought of Negativity in mind for non fulfillment of any desire takes away from you all the happiness all the POSITIVITY that you have gained by achieving something. This Negativity results in all sorts of problems, HYPERTENSION, INSOMNIA, IRRATIONAL THOUGHTS, SELF DEMORALIZATION. This results in person to go backwards on the path of progress. He will get even more duffer and his capabilities will slowly get stagnated. The only remedy to this problem lies in a person’s own hands. Never desire for anything extra, put in your best efforts to achieve your mission, if you reach your target feel contented and don’t be overconfident. In case you don’t achieve something don’t stop in between and don’t blame yourself on the otherhand think of things that you have gained from the act, even if you fail you do gain some thing and this EXPERIENCE. Be happy with whatever you have and don’t let yourself down. Stay cheerful but yet calm think before you act and fix and focus on your goals and develop strategies of achieving your end and you will automatically find that ample POSTIVE ENERGY will be generated within yourself that will certainly help you achieve new highs of life. 3. STAY FIT: “A HEALTHY MIND IN A HEALTHY BODY” is the saying that is very apt in today’s scenario. One finds commonly now a days people who have disproportionate physical construction bodily. Either they are over weight or they are undergoing some makeovers for a more younger look. Children of too young age are found to be overweight, using high power glasses, having problems of diabetes and even irregular growth syndrome. Office going people on jobs are found to consume maximum Junk food, sit on chairs for long hours resultant obesity and disproportionate body growth. Then paying huge sums in Gyms and taking Fat loss programmes. But all these investment is wasteful as results achieved are only temporary and no long term results are sought as a consequence again same weight regain. My mantra for staying fit is “LOVE YOUR SELF FIRST, THEN EVERYONE WILL LOVE YOU AUTOMATICALLY”. A good personality attracts people towards you. What is essential is you give at least 2 hours daily on your body out of 24 hours and you will find that you save a lot on medicines, diet plans, and above all your will start feeling fresh and energetic. One might do CARDIO EXCERSISES or WEIGHT TRAINING; MEDITATION, YOGA AND RUDRAKSHA THERAPY in recent times have also proven to work wonders in treating ailments permanently if properly and strictly followed. Unless the feeling of staying fit is not affecting the mind, do any sort of exercise or avoid eating do anything no positive results will be seen, but once taken as a firm mental decision there will be drastic and quick results visible to all. Once fit and fine your approach to things and their achievement becomes more easier and results in satisfaction. 4. Don’t be introvert on the contrary make it a point to speak with everyone you come across, this shall help you in many ways, Firstly no one will feel that you are arrogant, Secondly your knowledge will get enhanced as you will share information from others, Thirdly you will become more confident and express your feelings well. You will cultivate the feeling of acquire more knowledge. Slowly your acceptability in the society will increase people will start asking for your opinions also, will also share their individual problems with you this shall make your personality more matured. 5. Do not avoid your family: As per lessons of Civics and Moral Science a home and a family is the smallest yet a complete unit with all elements that a person needs to survive in this world and your concentration towards your family needs and requirements should also be apt. You must know about the smallest to the extreme event taking place in your family. Because the problem solving approach that you have for your family also helps you to be an important person in the society you move. How well you handle issues of your family also depicts your capacity to deal with problems of life. 6. DON’T WAIT FOR THE RIGHT TIME – AS WHEN YOU START WORKING ON SOME THING THAT ITSELF IS THE RIGHT TIME TO BEGIN. 7. DON’T FOLLOW FOOTSTEPS OF OTHERS, BUT MAKE YOUR OWN PATH FOR OTHERS TO FOLLOW YOUR EXAMPLE. 8. DON’T THINK THAT YOU ARE ALONE AND HAVE NO SUPPORT- REMEMBER EVEN A SINGLE MAN CAN BE MIGHTIER THEN AN ARMY AND CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE. 9. ALWAYS THINK WITH A COOL MIND AND DON’T GET BAFFLED IN TESTING TIMES YOUR CALM AND COOL MIND WILL CERTAINLY HELP YOU TO FIND RIGHT SOLUTION. 10. THINK BIG, SET HIGHER GOALS BUT KEEP MEMORIZING THEM SO THAT YOU DON’T GET LOST ON YOUR PATH TO ACHIEVE YOUR TARGETS SET. 11. KEEP FIRM DETERMINATION TO DO THINGS THAT YOU WANT, YOU WILL DEFINITELY GET THE WAY DIRECTING YOU TOWARDS YOUR DESIRED END. 12. BELIEVE IN ALMIGHTY AND NEVER BE DISTRESSED IN TROUBLED TIMES, BECAUSE THESE TIMES TEST YOUR CAPABILITIES AND MAKE YOU A COMPLETE PERSON. JUST AS GOLD MORE SHIME AFTER GETTING BURNT IN FIRE. 13. LOVE AND RESPECT ALL HUMAN BEINGS FIRST, AND THE SAME SHALL FOLLOW. 14. BE CHEERFUL AND SPREAD JOY AMONGST EVERYONE. 15. THINGS THAT YOU THINK WILL GIVE YOU JOY, GIVE YOU MAXIMUM PAIN. 16. EVERYTHING THAT IS GETTING USED, IS USEFUL WHAT EVER IS EXTRA IS WASTAGE. 17. IT IS RIGHTLY SAID BY LORD SHRI KRISHNA IN BHAGWAT GEETA “ MAN DOES WHAT HE WISHES BUT THE RESULT IS WHAT IS DESIRED BY ME (GOD). THEN DO AS I (GOD) WISH THE RESULT WILL BE AS DESIRED BY YOU (MAN)” 18. IN EVERY HUMAN BEING THERE IS A POWER THAT IS EQUIVALENT TO POWER GENERATED BY A POWERHOUSE THAT CAN LIGHT 5 VILLAGES FOR 7 DAYS. BUT IT IS THE RELIZATION OF POWER THAT IS IMPORTANT. 19. IN WORLD OUT OF TOTAL POPULATION 4% OF THE PEOPLE EARN 96% OF WEALTH, AND REST 96% PEOPLE EARN 4% OF WEALTH. 20. THERE ARE VERY LIMITED PEOPLE WHO HAVE ASSESSED THE POWER OF SUB CONCIOUS MIND. THE CONCIOUS MIND HAS 10% POWER AND A SUBCONCIOUS MIND HAS 90% POWER. THIS ALSO MEANS THAT BRAIN POWER OF ALL HUMAN BEINGS IS THE SAME. BUT IT IS THE USAGE OF THE POWERS OF SUBCONCIOUS BRAIN THAT IS DIFFERENT IN DIFFERENT PERSONS THAT MAKE THEM GENIOUS, INTELLIGENT, SMART, DUFFERS, MORONS SO ON AND SO FORTH. IT IS THEREFORE ESSENTIAL FOR EVERYONE TO DEVELOP THEIR SUBCONCIOUS MINDS AND THEN ONE WILL FIND GROWTH IN NO. OF PEOPLE WHO COULD REALLY BE CALLED AS ASSETS TO THE NATION. ONLY THEN WE WILL BE ABLE TO MAKE “INDIA PROUD OF INDIANS – ABOVE ALL THE WORLD PROUD OF INDIA AND INDIANS.” 21. THERE IS NOTHING THAT IS “IMPOSSIBLE” BECAUSE IF IT IS SPELT AS “I ‘M POSSIBLE” CONCLUSION THESE THOUGHTS I FEEL ARE VERY NECESSARY FOR A PERSON LIKE ME TO SHARE WITH EVERYONE, CAUSE I FEEL THAT THESE THOUGHTS ARE NOT DIRECTED TO A PARTICULAR GROUP OF PEOPLE BUT TOWARDS ALL THOSE WHO DESIRE TO GROW, PROGRESS, ACHIEVE GOALS, AND ABOVE ALL TRANSFORM INTO A “BETTER HUMAN BEING- AN ASSET TO THE NATION” Thoughts by ---Ranveer Gupta
