SENATE IS CEREMONIAL, REAL BUSINESS IS IN NATIONAL ASSEMBLY: Methinks an Idle Senate is now giving itself too much powers contrary to what the constitution have given them. Demanding to increase county allocation of revenue does not served them any good but it shows that if all they had any powers they would have been misusing it any time they feel like. The Senators must instead respect the constitution as well as the National Assembly which has been mandated by the constitution to take care of the national interests as opposed to to some of the sectarian vested interests. I believe that President Uhuru Kenyatta will abide by the proposal from the national assembly, bearing in his mind that the interest of the nation come before the interest of the individuals. I have heard a number of senators saying that some people want to scuttle the Devolution. All this episodes are just but sideshows and scapegoat after learning that Senate is nothing more than a ceremonial house.
