History Our History Erajaya Group grew from its humble origin in the early 1990s to become national powerhouse in distribution and retail of mobile comunnication products. Today, Erajaya Group is the official distributor for 10 international mobile communication brands and an authorised partner for major mobile operators. Recently, the Group has launched its own mobile handset under the name of Venera. Ardy Hady Wijaya started a microbusiness trading handsets after observing a growing popularity in mobile services and became convinced that there would be a very promising prospect in distributing and retailing mobile communication products. As a microbusiness with limited working capital, he often had to personally deliver the products to his retail partners.
