SENIOR TECHNICAL INSPECTION (LEVEL 1) - SASREF QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: Completion of Secondary (Sciences) education + 2 years formal training in mechanical leading to City and Guilds Parts II or equivalent. 6 years inspection and testing experience in the oil or petrochemical industry. Very good English language skills and competent in the use of PC applications (MS Office suite or equivalent). JOB PURPOSE: Execute the inspection scope of work on a specified range of plant static equipment, using defined NDT techniques, collate and validate inspection technical data and compile technical reports for the line engineer’s review and action. Provide technical advice to ensure inspection requirements are met in maintenance and repair activities to support the integrity and reliability of the plant static equipment.
