SEPTEMBER 1, 2014 MONDAY. Its 1015pm. Just got back from our 1st Salesian Community Bonding: Movie Pudsey the Dog in WALTERMART. Ever since our ST FRANCIS DE SALES COMMUNITY integrated with the PROVINCIAL HOUSE COMMUNITY for all meals last July, we have not had our own community bonding. Consequently, in our last Community Assembly, we decided to block off MONDAY EVENINGS for our own Salesian Bonding. Tonight was the 1st attempt to spend time together. Personally, I didnt like the movie, but it was the choice of our superior. Thats the sacrifice of living in community - dying to ones self for others to be happy. There were only 6 of us in the whole movie house: an elderly couple and the four of us. All non-revenue! Fr. Dennis and I had the MTCRB card - so the four of us were FREE! I was in and out of consciousness during the entire showing - if you know what I mean. It was time spent just to be with the community - once a week. ------------------------------ I was in DON BOSCO all morning. SERYNA LUNCH 1130-0230 Tet Dominguez picked me up for a meeting over lunch in SERYNA across MAKATI SQUARE. Her husband, Danny was suppose to be with us, but he didnt feel good. The meeting was simply to discuss the 1st Friday talk for the AYALA ALABANG RENEWAL COMMUNITY from 8-10pm. At least, we had a fruitful exchange of ideas. NEW WORLD HOTEL 0330-0400 I drove to NEW WORLD HOTEL to drop off some rosaries for Edith Loyola to mail to Cynthia, my sister in law, in NEW JERSEY. She requested the rosaries several months ago and its only now I had the chance to send them through Edith who is flying back to LAS VEGAS on Wednesday. RESIDENCES 0400-0500 I crossed over to RESIDENCES to bid goodbye to Tito Manuel and Tita Joyce who are flying to SAN FRANCISCO tonight - PHILIPPINE AIR LINES, to visit their son en route to MARYLAND. Tito Manuel left me the keys of his unit in case I want to use it during his absence. Perhaps, I will take advantage of the swimming pool or the gym anytime I am free. CIRKULO DINNER 0600-0800 I walked over to CIRKULO for the 62nd birthday of Gil Buenaventura. I was invited by Jane, his wife. Just family, close friends and La Salle classmates. I had to take leave @8pm to join my Salesian Community for our 1st bonding. I wanted to hang out a little more, but I had to go. I met several friends in CIRKULO. The family/relatives of the Chat and Rebecca Veloso celebrating their 43rd Wedding Anniversary. I remember their family started the MUSTARD SEED COMMUNITY so many years ago, but now no more.
