SERIES 402: YOU MUST READ THIS. THERE ARE LESSONS IN IT NOT JUST FOR FUN It’s an ugly experience. To many, it’s a laughable stuff but mehn! STRESS can make one-do stupid things. Lack of good rest after weeklong activities is bad. Just this morning, after taking my bath and dressing up, I hurriedly left the house in traditional attire to Lagos Island in order to meet up with my schedules for today. No one stopped me on the street, no one called my attention. Everyone was seriously mindful of their businesses. As I approached the bus stop to enter a bus, the conductor called my attention. He said Bros, “this one you dressed like this.” I looked at my dressing but found nothing wrong with it. I then asked him, what was wrong with it? Guess what? He pointed beneath my trouser. I shouted in astonishment. I couldn’t believe I could be making such a mistake. I felt bad that what I wore was the bathroom slippers I used in bathing. I never noticed it. I had walked from the house to the bus stop in slippers. I polished my shoe in the early hours of the morning. I forgot to put it on. I thought what I put on was shoes. I didn’t feel it was slippers. But the funny thing was that passersby and even my neighbours never noticed it when I left the house. They would have corrected me. Now my schedules of which I was rushing to meet up with have been affected. I had to return to the house to wear my shoes. I finally met the traffic I was avoiding. Now this is what stress can cause. I over stressed myself yesterday. I don’t know how many persons that have experienced this before? It’s a product of stress. It can make one loose all. Imagine me leaving the house in a bathroom slippers without noticing it. What would have happened if I had entered an office like that? Too bad! Don’t give room to stress. It can embarrass you.
