SERMON FOR THE FIRST SERVICE SEPTEMBER 15, 2013 SPEAKER: PROPHET ISAAC BAIDOO THEME: ASPERSIONS “And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the ACCUSER of our brethren is cast down, which ACCUSED them before our God day and night” (Revelation 12:10) Preaching from the book of the Bishop “Aspersions” Prophet Baidoo noted that its either you have an accuser on your tail or an intercessor who intercedes on your behalf. Unfortunately, Satan who is the accuser of the brethren has special agents constantly on our tail. An accusation is a charge or allegation made against someone. It puts blame and points fingers at the victim. It is indeed a very powerful weapon that weakens one’s defense systems. It is a very dangerous weapon with disastrous and rippling consequences. Prophet Baidoo noted that accusation is Satan’s topmost strategy for dealing with an unconquerable enemy. As Christians therefore, we must be careful about accusations and hence keep accusers at arms length. We must not allow our selves to be used as accuser of the brethren that the devil uses to disintegrate the church. Accusation is Satan’s best weapon and it has the power to break and disintegrate any kind of camaraderie. We must equally be careful as to what comes out from our mouth. Hence the fact that you saw your pastor coming out from a beer parlor is not enough to conclude that he went in to drink beer. Psalm 41:9 stipulates “Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me” Hence your own associate can easily be your accuser. Satan knows that for accusation to be strong and effective requires a close friend or associate. Who will ever doubt a wife that accuses the husband of not being a real man? In effect accusation indeed brings an end to all camaraderie. It’s just so unfortunate how Christians of today have been employed by the devil to accuse each other falsely. Many great men of God have fallen victims to false accusations that has impacted negatively in their ministry. Accusation is so dreadful that it stops or curtails the flow of the anointing. As Christians therefore we must be very careful about accusations and hence make a conscious effort to keep accusers at arms length. The foundational scripture clearly spells out benefits to be derived when the accuser is silenced. Silencing the accuser brings about salvation which is total deliverance and emancipation. Strength is another benefit for with the accuser in your midst, you lose self confidence , become weak and hence unable to do anything. The Kingdom of God will also come when the accuser of the brethren is cast down for without that, there will be no peace let alone joy in the church or what ever undertaking. Finally, the power of the Lord is released and the anointing freely flows when the accuser is cast out, Prophet Baidoo concluded.
