SEVEN ATTRIBUTES OF A SUCCESSFUL SOUL WINNER 1.) He is assured of his own salvation. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God: that ye know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God (1 John 5:13). Many dont have this assurance, possibly because they have not yet completely surrendered their own loves to God. 2.) He lives a clean life. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, and meet for the masters use...(2 Timothy 2:21). We live in a world wherein we constantly face temptations. We must flee from all appearance of evil. 3.) He leads a surrendered life. For me to live is Christ...(Philippians 1:21). The apostle Paul told the brethren in Acts 20:31 that he ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears. 4.) He has love. We love him, because he first loved us (1 John 4:19). We must have a love for lost souls, and must work diligently to bring them to Christ. 5.) He perseveres. Satan will discourage us. We must develop patience to follow through. 6.) He possesses a good practical knowledge of the Bible. And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness...(2 Timothy 3:15-16). 7.) He has a good prayer life. Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you...(Matthew 7:7). Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest (Matthew 9:37-38).
