SEVERE WEATHER POSSIBLE MONDAY AFTERNOON. I hope that captured your attention. I did use all caps, after all. Yes, we are looking at the possibility of severe weather tomorrow afternoon. Primary impacts in order of concern: HAIL, damaging winds, and isolated tornado(es). Unlike with Thursday nights weather event that came through as a line, tomorrows storms will be in the form of individual cells, even supercells (although non-tornado producing, most likely). There still exists much uncertainty as to what extent our severe weather chances will be. It all depends on how the storm-producing ingredients come together. As such, the Storm Prediction Center has us in a Slight Risk area for severe weather, primarily tomorrow afternoon. Rain and thunderstorms will be possible at any point tomorrow, with our greatest severe chances being in the afternoon. Even tonight while you sleep, you may hear a rumble of thunder. One thing is for certain, and that is rain. We could see up to an inch of the wet stuff tomorrow, so keep the umbrella handy. Ill try to have more information posted in the morning as it becomes available. To be clear on one thing: tornadoes are NOT a huge concern tomorrow. One cant be ruled out, but our biggest threat is hail.
