SHALOM!!! DISCHARGE AND ACQUITTED Zech 3:1 And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist(accuse) him. 3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel. 2 And the Lord said unto Satan, The Lord rebuke thee, O Satan; even the Lord that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: [is] not this a brand plucked out of the fire? 4 And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment. Of a truth, Joshua was filthy, sinful and deserves condemnation. However, as the accuser of the brethren stood besides him pointing to his weaknesses as many people accuse us today, an Angel of the Lord, rebuked Satan; asking him: is this not a brand(stick) plucked(pulled) out of fire? In other words, is he not among those whom the Lord has redeemed by his own blood? Are they deserving any condemnation though they be sinful? Dont forget, the Angel are ministering spirits sent to serve heirs of salvation in the interest of the Kingdom. Heb 1:13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? 14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation? There you have the ministry of Angels at work. Lots of people who like to stick their nose in other peoples affairs and even try to assume the position of a judge, may try to occupy the office of Satan as an accuser of the brethren however, we shouldnt forget the ministry of the Angels of God. They ll always be there to rebuke such as that. Therefore, the Holy Spirit, does ask an all important question: Rom 8:33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of Gods elect? [It is] God that justifieth. 34 Who [is] he that condemneth? [It is] Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Nobody has the right to either condemn or judge a neigbour of his. God therefore declared his will and mind: Jas 4:11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of [his] brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge. 12 There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another? Teachers of the law might chose to nail worshipers with the nail of Pontius Pilate forgetting that JESUS did completely pay the ultimate price for our redemption. Our sins, both iniquities(sins in the past) and transgressions(sins in the present) has all been taken care of by the redemption: Isa 53:5 But he [was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; Therefore, it is conclusive that our offences fell on Jesus on the cross, yes, Christians should practice right living but right living must be differentiated from righteousness.True righteousness that God approves of, comes by Faith in God.But right living enables us to live in peace with our neighbors. Rom 8:1 [There is] therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. THOUGHT FOR TODAY Teachers of the law might chose to nail worshipers with the nail of Pontius Pilate forgetting that JESUS did completely pay the ultimate price for our redemption. May you receive today, freedom that the Spirit gives to as many as receive Jesus in their Heart!!! MARANATHA!!! (apostle Godson) *pls share*
