Ive been doing a lot of talking about putting together a San Antonio cypher to be filmed, and to initiate a Texas mic pass to every major city in Texas... Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, Waco, Houston, Corpus, El Paso, RGV... And the list goes on... What better place to start the Texas mic pass than the city of champions... So this Thursday at Fitzgeralds #TONEdown4WHATTT??? will be hosting a preliminary screening to find the illest lyricist, and dopest rappers San Antonio has to offer. We got to bring that fire... Producers are encouraged to bring your sickest #EBOLABEATS for the artists to go hammm on. There is NO COVER AT THE DOOR, SO DONT LET NOTHING STOP YOU FROM SHOWING UP AND SHOWING OUT. THIS WILL BE JUDGED. WINNERS WILL BE ENTERED INTO THE FINALS. ONLY 7 ARTISTS WILL MAKE THE CUT FOR THE OFFICIAL 210 CYPER ...TEXAS MIC PASS... Also if you all are interested in a cash prize for the winner, we can incorporate that by having a small $5 entry fee.. Winner take all.. How this works.. Once the artists begin to arrive they will sign in and we will put all the names in a hat to be pulled randomly. There will be 4-6 artists on stage at a time for each cypher. No one will know what beat is chosen to flow on until they are on stage, they then will get the opportunity to hear the beat all the way through. then each artist on the mic will get 1:30 seconds to spit a HOT 16. Once all of them are through.. the judges will decide who will move to the next round and who will stay. The Process will continue until there is one winner. Each group of artists will have a new beat. Come prepared to WIN, so bring several 16s. This event is designed to see who can sink or swim. It is only a preliminary to the Official San Antonio Cypher to the 21o Texas Mic Pass.
