[SHARE] The Iceberg Projects STREET DAWAH TEAM in DUNDEE with Abraham Pirry were joined by some Brothers, One from Edinburgh and One from Falkirk! #AbuDawah They came to deliver some more Dawah Materials to us and help us out at the table clearing up the misconceptions and give people the Truth! One man was very interested, and took a contact number and some leaflets, in order to come and visit the Mosque, and ask many more questions about Islam! Another Man said that there is no evidence for Gods existence. When the evidence was produced, he didnt understand that this type of evidence is something objective for him to assess. My opinion is subjective, and therefore we gave objective evidence, however he laughed it off as not evidence, and it wasnt suprising, after a short while he asked if we pray to Muhammad (peace be upon him) if we want things in life! MISCONCEPTION!! We dont pray to MUHAMMAD, we pray to THE CREATOR - the one who created MUHAMMAD (May Peace be Upon Him) and everything else for that matter, including you and I! He thought, we see Muhammad as Christians see Jesus (peace be upon him) The Prophet, (may Peace be upon Him), forbade going to extremes in praising him, as he said, Do not extol as the Christians extolled the son of Mary. For I am just His slave, so say, the slave of God and His Messenger, [Narrated by al-Bukhari, 4/142, no. 3445; al-Fath, 6/551] One elder Muslim man came to the table, asked us some questions about what we were doing, gave us some advice and encouraged us to keep giving materials and discussing with people who are not Muslims!
