SHAVE FOR A CURE My friend Pauline Mackie and I feel that we should do something for the community. On Friday 21st March, we, with others, are having our heads shaved to make money for the treatment of cancer and leukaemia. This will be a pretty frightening sight, for us and the onlookers. The shearing will be at the above time, outside Zacs cafeteria in the Hastings Memorial Hospital. Please support us and pledge a donation to either Pauline or me. You know how to contact us and the donations must be paid by the end of the month. The money donated will be deposited in the BNZ, Leukaemia and Blood cancer New Zealand account. This is a big thing for Pauline and myself, especially with winter coming on!!!!! We have decided after consultation with a hairdresser that a No 2 cut should suffice. It will be interesting.
