SHIN SPLINTS: From casual runners to people training for the upcoming Dublin Marathon, shin splints are an issue many runners face. This painful injury can stop runners reaching their goals and can even stop you from running altogether if not treated. The good news is that shin splints are very treatable! Try foam rolling your shins and calves daily spending 3-5 mins on each leg. This is a great way to treat or prevent shin splints, and you also get a bit of a core workout while doing these exercises too!!
