SHINE ON WITH CR #4 GREETINGS, WELCOME Shekon, Thank you, Nia;wenh for joining me for this 4th installment of SHINE ON ~with Carla-Rae~!!! Can you believe it? We are on Episode 4. I am honored and thrilled to have you join me again. Today, I want to offer my thanks to the Gabriellano Tongva Tribal people of Los Angeles, who have embraced me onto there home land and into their hearts. Recently, I was allowed to take part in a craft event at their Cultural Center in The San Gabriel Valley. We had such a lovely time of creating and bonding. There was joy and laughter among us in abundance. What an honor FOR ME to be counted among them. Thank you my dear Tongva friends. Keep Shining! During the cultural craft evening with my Tongva Friends, we made Dream Catchers. In todays episode of SHINE ON ~with Carla-Rae~ I have blended my traditional Story Telling adaptation of the story of the DREAM CATCHER and combined it with photos of the crafting of my Dream Catcher and visuals to correspond with the telling of the traditional story. Come with me, now, as we catch a glimpse of this rich culture. SO, There you have it. No matter how young or old you think you are, YOUR DREAMS have the power to come to pass.
