SHOCK as Khan advises RUTO to airlift old mother to the Hague where she is set to Wail and cause panic ********************************* Deputy President William Ruto’s lawyer, the cantankerous Karim Khan, advised him to airlift his mother, an old kalenjin grandmother, to the Hague where, on motion, the woman is expected to wail profusely and capture the emotions of both the Judges and Mother of world Justice, the fearless Fatou Bensouda. The old widow of Ruto’s father will make so much sad noises that the ICC may be forced to adjourn. This is in contrary to the national anthem and the Kenyan flags which a group of Mps have been (mis) using as a show of patriotism to the suspected murderer. However, the decision to airlift the mother has shocked the whole Kimagut village and beyond, with elderly women who know Ruto’s mother saying the old woman is afraid of heights. “Even in Primary school she never used to jump, how will she manage the ‘bird’ (aircraft),” posed Chepchumba, the woman living on the other side of mama Ruto’s boma. How will images of Ruto’s mother play in the public opinion tomorrow? It will be interesting to see her faceless daughter June, the mother Rachel, and this old infirm woman climbing the stairs of the Hague based court for the next 18 days. I’m smiling profusely already! Let us not forget that tomorrow we shall watch the incomprehensible burning of Kikuyus in the Kiambaa church, eldoret; a sin that shocked even angel Gabriel, who had just left the church premises to go save Uhuru’s victims of Naivasha.
