The pinned post Feature Mustang of the Week is selected by Scot Chapman , based on whatever criteria he chooses !!!...and I have a committee , made up of DAnne Hull Engram , Kresha Ramos and MelissaSu Smith , that each choose a car from the monthly posts, then the last day of the Month, we let the members choose one of those three, by casting their likes and the one with the most likes by midnight EST , on the last day of the Month, becomes Mustang of the month and stays on the banner for the next month !!! Do not post anything you do not want your child or your mom to read. Including Nudity or Anything the Administration finds objectionable. 2. ALL pictures MUST be Mustang oriented. In other words they MUST have a Mustang in them or be Mustang related , the two exceptions being the Mercury Capri and any Ford GT, they are Welcome here as Well. All pictures posted will be reviewed by a member of the admin team. If you have any doubts, dont post it. 3. Putting down someone else’s car is FORBIDDEN! You don’t have to like it but you are not to say anything nasty. Everyone’s ride is their own, whether stock or modified, to their tastes. If you have nothing nice to say, say nothing 4. There will not be any V6 vs. V8 “wars” here. No Mustang vs. Camaro “wars” as well. 5. People who are rude, unpleasant and/or profane will be deleted and blocked without warning. 6. TROLLS , When we determine that you are a Troll ( someone who only posts to start crap ) , you will be BANNED Permanently ! If any member sees a questionable post, they are invited to report the post and let it be reviewed by a member of the admin team. 7. Please adjust your privacy settings to Public so that when you post a picture, all members can see it. If we get the “attachment unavailable” message, the post will be deleted. 8. Last but not least…All admin actions are final. We, the admin team do this for free to keep this page running. We expect respect as we respect our members. 9. From John Ropella : First let me say, I love this page. I love seeing pics of Mustangs posted by people who love Mustangs. Hopefully, I can help out all the new or younger Mustang owners with a little advice. Please DON’T ask “What should I do to my car?” on an open forum without some qualifications. You’re going to get so many different posts advising you what to do with your car, you’re probably going to be more confused than before you asked the question to begin with. Unless, all you want is to see how many comments you get or arguments you can start. So, to help you out a little, here are a few tips. Ask yourself, “Why did I buy this Mustang to begin with?” Did you buy the car for a commuter car? Daily driver? To show it? A weekend cruiser? Track it, or race it? A little bit of all of that? Then ask yourself what your goals are for your car. Do you want to make it a show car, rally car, a nice cruiser, or straight line racer? Then you have to ask yourself two very important things: How much is your budget? Related to that, how long are you willing to wait to achieve your goals? Because let’s face it, very few of us have all the money needed to do ALL the stuff we want to our cars right away. And, what features (those things you like the best about your car to begin with) are you willing (or NOT willing) to compromise to achieve your goals? A few things to consider: ride comfort, handling, mileage, ease of driving (in traffic especially), traction in wet/cold weather, maintenance costs, part replacement costs, resale value. Other than a few appearance modifications and VERY few performance modifications, most modifications will negatively affect or compromise at least one of these things. And other than a VERY FEW exceptions, you won’t get all the money back you put into the car when it comes time to sell it. That’s why they call it a “hobby”. Don’t get me wrong. I love the hobby. Ive owned several Mustangs over the past 15 years, and have put thousands of dollars into my projects. But, I went in with my eyes wide open, and knowing what I wanted to achieve from the builds. If you can answer these questions, then post EXACTLY what your goals are when asking for advice on what to do to your Mustang, you might reduce the useless comments by…. 3 or 4. If all you want is to see how many comments you can get on your posts, please ignore…. And let the moderators sort out the post wars. And,keep those pics coming! It is a large task to keep up with and we, like you are human, we work, sleep and try to have a life. A BIG part of that life is enjoying looking at ALL of your Great Mustangs !....then we get the RUDE people, who dont seem to grasp our premise and it runs good people off and leaves us to find and Mop Up the Milk as it were.
